Why was Levira created?
Levira Training & Consulting was founded by Sophie in 2026, built on years of passion and experience in working with organisations through their challenges and growth.

Throughout her career, Sophie has witnessed first-hand the impact that gaps in areas such as onboarding, mental health, and leadership can have on both employees and organisations. When these areas are overlooked, it not only affects the individual employee’s journey, but also influences retention, trust, and the level of risk an organisation faces.

At the core of Levira is a strong belief that mental health and a person-centred approach go hand in hand with effective training and development. Retaining staff isn’t just about processes, it requires understanding individuals, recognising their needs, identifying gaps, and providing meaningful support.....That’s where Levira stands apart.

Drawing on extensive experience in mental health, project management, leadership, and applied psychology, Sophie creates tailored training and development solutions that are designed not just for organisations, but for the people within them.

Foundations & Approach
Levira is built on a foundation of extensive experience across healthcare, mental health, education, and organisational development, spanning both frontline practice and strategic leadership. This includes direct experience within mental health services, managing clinical caseloads and working closely with service users, providing first-hand insight into how gaps in training and support impact staff wellbeing, performance, service delivery, and client outcomes.

This is complemented by experience across substance misuse recovery and mental health support, developing strong capabilities in de-escalation and managing complex or high-pressure situations. Levira brings this depth of experience into every engagement, combining practical insight with an evidence-based approach informed by a strong academic foundation in psychology, alongside structured methods such as training needs analysis, data-informed development, and adaptable business analysis.
Cross-Sector Experience
Levira draws on extensive experience across community, education, and healthcare sectors. This includes delivery within higher education settings through the design and facilitation of degree-level modules, alongside practical, applied training for care and residential environments.
This expertise is further strengthened by cross-sector work across the UK and the United States, supporting diverse populations including SMEs, community organisations, prisons, police services, Native American tribes, and at-risk youth.
Training has been delivered to individuals across all literacy levels, backgrounds, and levels of experience, ensuring it is accessible, inclusive, and impactful, with a consistent focus on strengthening employee confidence, wellbeing, and retention.
